So in this blog, i am reviewing Top 3 Bestselling Bluetooth speakers in 2020:

  • Anker soundcore 2 portable Bluetooth Speaker
  • Anker Soundcore Sport xl Portable Bluetooth Speaker
  • JBL Flip 4 Portable Wireless Speaker

1) Anker SoundCore 2 Portable (Best selling bluetooth speakers)

Anker soundCore 2 from Anker one of the most popular Bluetooth speakers available on the market. Feature in Bluetooth 5 and ipx7 waterproof rating 24-hour playtime and a full rich sound is easy to see

It has a rubberized matte black design in a simple and compact. Form factor coming in at 165 millimeters long by 50 foot tall by 45 wide making room fill.

On top, we have 5 simple buttons for power Bluetooth connection volume up and down and a play button that can be used to play and pause the connected device behind the protective cover on one end.

We have a micro USB port for charging and a 3.5millimeter jack for plugging in those devices which don’t feature Bluetooth.

Weight is around 400 grams the speaker is light enough to come to carry around in one hand or if you prefer these separately sold.

Carry case provides great protection to the device and connecting it to your belt or rucksack is useful for my one criticism of the sound Core 2.

Over its competitors is that there’s no way to attach or mount the device itself it can only sit flat turning the device on and getting it connected.

Couldn’t be simpler with the device making audible notifications of its status synchronize volume control on both the speaker and connected device is a great feature with another notification being made.

when it reaches maximum volume additionally thanks to Bluetooth 5 is possible to connect to two sank or two speakers from a single device allowing for increased volume and a stereo experience.

Although I haven’t been able to test this the most impressive feature though is the sound produced by this relatively small device rich and full the device can reach impressive volumes with surprisingly good low-end.

Throughout there’s very little distortion at maximum volume and the reproduction is crisp and clear for both voice and music.

The speaker will easily fill any kitchen living room bedroom garden or even the bathroom the build quality is rubbers and the ipx7 rating means it can withstand in submerged in water facility minutes at 1 meter.

I wouldn’t be afraid of taking this to the beach poolside or on a hike, especially with its 24-hour battery life.

The speaker does have a microphone, so you can use it for phone calls, from this distance of around 2 feet.

The SoundCore 2 sounds absolutely amazing for its price, And for its size.

I have been using it to watch TV, as I like watching TV with Bluetooth speakers, and this does a really great job even for movies where you want that big sound for action movies.

You really feel a surprising level of energy coming out of it as vibrations and that just ad that another dimension to the sound.

And then for listening to music, these also perform very well.

The bass on these is really great, if you are a basshead, you are really going to enjoy this, and it is quite surprising how good the bass can be on a speaker of this size and price.

It also gets very loud with dual 6-watt drivers, and will easily fill small rooms with high-quality sound.

It doesn’t sound as good on the highest volume level, but for any reasonable listening level, the sound isn’t going to distort.

Now, because of how this speaker is tuned, it can get a little bass-heavy sometimes, which means that the lower frequencies overpower then the rest of the audio spectrum.

So if you feel like that, you can use an equalizer with similar settings to mine to get a more balanced sound out of these.

It sounds good without an equalizer, but if you like a more balanced sound, using an equalizer will give you a very pleasing and detailed sound.

Now if you’re in India, then it costs almost 4000 Rs. If you want to buy this product click the button below which is redirect to my Products Page.

2) Anker SoundCore Sport XL Portable (Best selling bluetooth speakers)

Going over the physical features it’s confirmed the sound core boost falls into the small speaker category making it ideal

If portability is high on the list now it’s very similar in size and weight but keep in mind despite how small and light it is it’s squared off on all corners.

While some of the competitors are much rounder you can beat a judge if this thought works for you or not then the top and bottom offers this unique looking rubberized plastic and gives off a recycled paper-like appearance.

Here I was giving it this eco-friendly look it’s pretty cool but one thing I would critique though Ido wish the rubberized texture was grippier when I picked it up it is somewhat slippery if you’re not holding it without thinking about it any the less the speaker still gives off a feeling perfect quality product,

The surrounding fabric grille looks great too and overall it doesn’t feel cheap now the sound core also features the IPX5 rating identical to Sony Bluetooth speakers.

I’ve recently tested it’s only splash-proof so you can’t submerge this underwater like the JBL Flip 4 now looking at the top I’ll be better at level indicators with NFC pairing in-between are responsive with a physical press.

You have a pause and play you can skip songs with a double press on the center button however there’s no way to go back to your previous song which was somewhat of a letdown.

However, with that same button, you can activate Google Voice assistants or Siri if you’d like the last is this up button which is a bass boost or bass enhancement feature

We’re rotating to the side the boost has a charge up a port which neither one of my competitors have if your phone is running low on a battery plug in a USB cord to your phone and use the soundcore just like a power bank and although anchor is number one in power bank sales that’s what they’re known for.

Unfortunately you don’t get quick chart capabilities with this now regarding better life anchor claims up to 12 hours of use and in my testing at 50% with the bass boost feature on I was able to get seven hours and three minutes to be exact before the speaker died.

I ran the same exact test with my Sony XP 20 and was able to achieve nine hours and eight minutes instead moving on to Bluetooth range Ankur claims up to 66 feet and with mine testing, I was able to achieve about 95 linear feet of the range which are outrageous having to signal got through two walls and some cabinets never did I lose signal

last but not least the built-in speakerphone is quite good at all lengths of standing away from the speaker never did the sound cord boost cause my voice to echo or give off a sound as though I was in a bathroom

Anker SoundCore Sport XL Portable Bluetooth Speaker

I do admit though although standing from 3 to 5 feet away my voice was still oddly quieter than the competition we won.

The first time you fire this thing up you’re going to notice the anger has bass the sound core gets deep it’s resonating it’s quite impressive at howl ow this thing can go it’s even deeper than the beats pill plus which is also a bass-heavy speaker deeper than DJ bill for forehand Sony XP 20.

Now with all that bass, there’s minimal distortion and you don’t have that nasty fluttering that you get with cheaper models now how does this affect the mid-range as with bassy speakers especially cheap ones sometimes they can distort and give off this muddy presence with the sound core boost you don’t get that listen to generals of hip-hop rap pop music and EDM

It all sounds great the mid-range is still very much pronounced and provides an immersive experience and for those in this price range, you’re going to be happy on the flip side if you predominantly listen to generals of rock classical or songs heavy into vocals the vocals do sound ever so slightly recessed compared to the big branded competition indeed the foot for the XP 20 offers.

less bass and the vocals are brighter more forward making the affirmation genres shine but with my test, if you don’t have all three of these speakers side by side at home playing them back-to-back that soundcore is still great to listen to as for the high notes I didn’t hear any tinging or ear-piercing notes.

Audio separation is not much apparent as with most Bluetooth speakers small or large and the soundstage is also absent again very similar to most blue tooth speakers out there in the end I’m really impressed by the audio performance.

if you’re on a budget and looking for a Bluetooth speaker in general the sound core is worthy to look into now despite its shortcomings they aren’t very short in my opinion the only issue I’ll consider is really its battery life in the comments section below let me know what you think is this something that you would consider a buying or not.

3) JBL Flip 4 Portable (Best selling bluetooth speakers)

JBL Flip 4 Portable Wireless Speaker

Over the physical features first, the JBL flip 4 is ever so slightly bigger and ever so slightly heavier but despite the minor increase, a flip 4 is still very portable very compact for most people’s needs the nylon fabric makes a return offering a very rugged experience and with this year’s model.

It’s not just splash-proof but JBL finally caught up with the competition and it is now fully submersible in water with the flip force ipx7 rating it can’t go underwater up to one meter or 3.3 feet for those on the imperial system and for up to 30 minutes as a side note the speaker does not float which is quite a let down you eaten fugu speakers actually float if you ever drop them off the boat or into the pool.

Now there’s Bluetooth pairing on the far left volume up and down and to the far right is a pause and play or if you use the app to change it you can have the same button to call up Siri or your Google assistant

Besides those options you can answer phone calls with that little triangle and with my testing, unfortunately, it sounded quite a bad standing at just two feet away from the speaker my voice was audible but it had a slight brass penis and on the other end.

They were able to tell that was clearly on a speakerphone at four feet away which is very reasonable here speaking naturally my voice sounded very raspy then there was an echo similar to me speaking

while I was in the bathroom and I sounded much much further away from that it was somewhat annoying for the person and the other end

now there’s power up top with five white LEDs to indicate better in life my battery test will come shortly here so just hang on tight there is a JBL connect plus button and I want to emphasize the plus in the name with last year’s speakers they also had JBL connect.

JBL Flip 4 Portable Wireless Speaker

But you were only able to pair those speakers with one other JBL connect the speaker with the plus versions here you’re now not limited to just two but you can connect over a hundred of these speakers all at the same time and all of them would play in sync that’s perfect for those trying to fill up a room

The only problem though and seriously I’m personally bummed out about this as I know many of you already purchased a JBL charge 3 or maybe the JBL Xtreme the Plus version doesn’t even pair with last year’s model the flip 4 cannot pair with any other speaker unless it’s another flip for or until JBL releases new models later this year and maybe into the future then you can mix and match and sync two speakers or more together

So just a heads up on that now moving on under that field flap there’s an axillary port for physical connections and right next to that is the micro USB port for charging the device.

It was my testing at 50% volume the same volume level on every one of my speaker tests for the last three years or so after 14 hours of playback that the maximum went here it still had 50% battery life remaining that’s phenomenal

Now run this a second time this time at maximum volume and the speaker lasted exactly four hours and a speaker also does slightly warm-up at higher vines but didn’t notice anything hazardous about it that

last but not least your signal strength on this and being frank Bluetooth technology is nearly perfect these days I walked through the entire house here upstairs and had the signal go through several walls and the flip floor never cut out or skimp on a signal strength

It’s my review here keep in mind the flip 4 does fall into these small speaker categories it’s not meant for big rooms but this little thing can for sure fill up small better of the dorm room sand at full volume it can fill a medium-sized room quite well the large open room surprisingly it does not sound tiny at all and it is still very much enjoyable for personal listening

Now for entertaining of course sound will be slightly suppressed I would then recommend a medium-sized or of course the larger size speakers at your disposal have fifty to sixty percent in volume which is a comfortable listening

JBL Flip 4 Portable Wireless Speaker
JBL Flip 4 Portable Wireless Speaker
JBL Flip 4 Portable Wireless Speaker

It’s full of bass that is not distorted or raspy at a very punchy character that absolutely loves and we return it up to maximum bottom base levels stay the same but the mid-range in highs are now further emphasized the mid-range is clear very distinguishable especially at high volumes which is great and the mid-range of vocals and instruments are pushed forward

but despite being forward the small speaker still lacks detail or resolution but again it is small and the price is only $100 I can expect it toper form like a 200 $300 speaker out there assumption based on the high frequencies snare drums and cymbal crashes are two of the main instruments you will find here they’re not raspy at a comfortable listening

but at maximum volume, you do lose resolution or details at the very top and the high frequencies do slightly jumble a bit

now for the average consumer, you’ll most likely notice this the average consumer that is more articulate you might be able to tell but again for the $100 price range this speakers overall performance is still phenomenal

now as for a soundstage like most Bluetooth speakers out there there’s hardly any audio separation unless you go the JBL connect plus route

so in conclusion here the only downfall a grep is the lack support for existing JBL speaker owners basically not being able to pair this would be new foot for now maybe there’s a firmware update that could come down the road maybe not we’ll just have to wait and see now for those looking for a rugged Bluetooth speaker

The flip 4 is rugged though but keep in mind it does not float when you compare it to some of the competition out there it is somewhat of a letdown if you do drop us into the lake and you’re unable to see where it fell or if you’re unable to dive and get it it’s basically gone forever

On the other hand though how loud this thing gets the number of baseless offers and indeed the future speakers that can connect using the JBL connect plus feature that foot 4 is still a greats peaker to buy I do highly highly highly recommend it

The audio performance alone something better than most other small Bluetooth speakers on the market in my opinion so that’s it for this review be sure to like and subscribe to help support my work here as always I’m here to help you make a purchase decision you guys take care I will see you on the next one.

Conclusion

So in conclusion, I have to say that this is one hell of a Bluetooth speaker. I really don’t think that you can get something that is built as well and can sound as good for the price. I can definitely recommend it to everyone looking for a Bluetooth speaker in this price range. If you want higher quality audio, you can really spend a lot on Bluetooth speakers.

But I can definitely say that these are good enough to not let you feel that you’re missing out on sound when listening to music or watching the video. Now if you’re in India, then it costs almost 4000 – 7000 Rs.

In the comments section below let me know what you think is this something that you would consider a buying or not.
